All lights benefit from our patented Intelligent Thermal Management (ITM) technology, which actively protects the system from overheating. In situations where airflow is minimal, such as when a vehicle is stationary, output is automatically reduced to maintain safe operating temperatures This could occur if the vehicle is static for a period of time, so that the cooling air flow if minimal. In this situation the power will be reduced. As soon as airflow is restored, the system immediately detects the improved cooling and returns the light to full output within seconds.

To maintain maximum beam efficiency over time, we use toughened glass for the front lenses, obviating the performance degradation to which plastic lenses are susceptible.

The Exposure Radial 6 produces 6,000 lumens of 5700K white light, using a hybrid lens system that pairs one 12 degree spot beam for long distance reach with five 16 degree wide beams for peripheral coverage. In practice that means you get both a long throw down the road and a wide spread across the verges from a single pod, without needing separate spot and flood lights. It is the highest output light in the Exposure Moto range and is sold as a single or as a matched pair.

Yes. The Radial 6 is HEX ezCAN compatible and can also be triggered by 12V switching on the positive wires, so it works on bikes with or without a CAN bus manager. Through an ezCAN you get high and low beam from the factory switchgear plus brightness dimming. Power draw is a low 3 amps, connection is via a waterproof TE Connectivity AMP Superseal connector, and dual mounting options cover crash bar clamps and stud mounts.

Independently tested by TÜV Rheinland

Every light in the Exposure Moto range is currently being tested by TÜV Rheinland in Germany, one of the most respected independent testing organisations for automotive and motorcycle lighting. We chose the toughest test we could find because these are the toughest lights we make.

TÜV Rheinland testing puts each lamp through beam pattern, photometric output, thermal, vibration and ingress checks against recognised international standards, rather than the manufacturer marking its own homework. When testing is complete we will publish the results and certificate numbers here, so you can see exactly what the Radial 7, Radial 6, Radial 3, EX4 and EX2 have been assessed against.
